Deep Cleaning
Deep cleaning is more thorough and detailed than regular cleaning, targeting areas that are not typically covered in a routine clean. It involves dealing with the build-up of dirt, grease, and grime over time, and often includes the following tasks:
Behind and Under Furniture
Moving furniture to clean the areas beneath and behind them, such as under the bed, behind the couch, etc.
Baseboards and Corners
Dusting and washing baseboards, and cleaning corners for cobwebs and built-up dirt.
Window Frames and Patio Doors
Cleaning window sills, window tracks, and frames. Patio doors are also cleaned for fingerprints and smudges.
Doors and Door Frames
Wiping down doors and door frames for fingerprints and marks.
Light Fixtures and Ceiling Fans
Dusting and cleaning light fixtures, lampshades, and ceiling fans.
Inside Cabinets and Drawers
Emptying and cleaning inside of cabinets and drawers.
Inside of Appliances
Cleaning the inside of appliances such as the oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher.
Detailed Floor Cleaning
In addition to vacuuming and mopping, this might include scrubbing tile grout and treating any scuffs or marks on hard flooring.
Wall Marks
Spot cleaning marks on walls.
Blinds and Curtains
Dusting or washing blinds, and vacuuming or laundering curtains.
Thorough Bathroom Cleaning
Deep cleaning the shower, tub, sink, and toilet, including grout, shower tracks, and areas around the toilet.
Upholstery and Carpet Cleaning
Vacuuming sofas, chairs, and other upholstered furniture, and using a carpet cleaner on carpets, if included in the service.
Vent Cleaning
Dusting and cleaning HVAC vents to improve air quality.
High Dusting
Removing dust from high areas like the top of cabinets, wardrobes, and other tall furniture.
Deep cleaning can be a one-time service or can be done periodically, such as during spring-cleaning or before a special event. It’s more time-consuming and often requires special cleaning products and equipment to ensure that all areas are left spotless..
